We are delighted to share that ITVETโs Wellbeing Team has been shortlisted for the esteemed Wellbeing Team of the Year (SME) award at the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards 2025.
Our people have always been at the heart of ITVET, which is why we established a dedicated Wellbeing Team to create a culture where our people feel supported both professionally and personally.
Itโs great to see their tireless efforts being recognised on a national level by the brilliant Great British Workplace Wellbeing awards, an organisation we have long admired for championing workplace wellness. This acknowledgment reinforces the importance of their work and the positive impact it has had on our entire team.
The Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards shine a light on the outstanding efforts of individuals and organisations committed to transforming workplace wellbeing across the UK. Founded by GRC World Forums and Wellity Global, these awards celebrate those who go above and beyond to promote mental and physical health within the British workforce. By highlighting innovative practices and inspiring initiatives, the awards not only honour exceptional contributions but also encourage a nationwide shift toward healthier, more supportive work environments.
Wellbeing & Talent Acquisition Manager, Laura Rock says โWe place staff wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. Being shortlisted for this award means the world to us, as it affirms that we are on the right track and that our staff feel valued and prioritised.โ
Recent statistics reveal that 76% of UK professionals report experiencing moderate to high levels of stress, with 35% indicating that this stress adversely affects their wellbeing and productivity at work.
Furthermore, there is a notable disconnect between leadership and employees when it comes to workplace wellbeing initiatives. While 96% of CEOs believe they are doing enough to support their workforce’s wellbeing, only 69% of employees share that sentiment. This disparity underscores the need for more effective and inclusive wellbeing strategies that resonate with employees at all levels.
Our Wellbeing Team plays a pivotal role in nurturing a supportive and empowering workplace culture, contributing to our remarkable achievement of a 97% Great Place to Workยฎ certificationโa milestone we are incredibly proud of.
Their steadfast commitment ensures that our teammates not only feel supported in excelling professionally but are also equipped to navigate lifeโs challenges with a dependable support network in tow. By prioritising care at every step, our Wellbeing Team has created an environment where personal growth, mental health, and professional success go hand in hand, setting a gold standard for workplace wellbeing.
We want to extend our best wishes to all the nominees and congratulate them on this remarkable accomplishment. Weโre excited to join them all in celebrating these incredible achievements.
The Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 20th March 2025 at Grosvenor House, Central London.
